Hey everyone,
We’ve officially entered darkness mode. I’m not looking forward to these 4pm sunsets, but I do enjoy the Fall coziness in the air.
Next week should be a doozy here in the US, so please take care of yourselves as best you can.
Let’s get into it:
Note to self: Stop worrying about all of the things that can go wrong, and focus on what can go right.
Get yourself a wins folder and start capturing all the amazing things you do regularly. When that imposter syndrome hits, open this back up and boom, you will start feeling more confident in your capabilities. Celebrate yourself!
The comparison mindset is a trap because no two people are the same. We all have different backgrounds, ways of thinking, etc. As cheesy as it sounds, you can really only compare yourself to your past self in terms of how far you’ve grown.
One thing I re-learned in therapy this week was my love for catastrophizing and falling for thinking traps.
Things will work out the way they’re supposed to. Keep trusting in what you’re doing.

Song of the Week
A new one I added to my rotation this week. A good tune indeed!
As always, I appreciate you spending part of your Sunday with me. I hope that you have a great rest of your day and see you next week :)

1) Love the snippets of reflection! I actually laid my piece coming out tomorrow very similarly after realizing how much I love somewhat unrelated but helpful thoughts listed together lol.
2) Implementing that second point has been a game changer for me. I actually took screen shots of a handful of peoples' encouraging comments as future fuel.
3) Fall is my favorite but I'm not looking forward to these early sunset either 😭
#4 is something I, too, am guilty of and wish I could manage better. I can only hope #5 is true and provides a happy outcome.
