Hey everyone,
To be honest, I haven’t taken any breaks since my layoff. I know the advice is to take some time off when in between jobs, and I think that is great advice, but I do not like living in uncertainty.
I’m in a major transition period in my personal and professional life, and I'm learning to be patient with everything. It’s all going to turn out exactly as it should.
Let’s get into it:
Having people in your corner supporting you is priceless.
Do what works for you. There is so much advice out there about optimizing your day, but it’s all relative.
One thing at a time. When you feel overwhelmed, it is often due to thinking about everything that needs to get done instead of what you need to do right now.
You are your own biggest advocate. Keep voicing what you need, celebrating your wins, etc.
Sometimes you need to treat yourself to something just because :)

Song of the Week
Oh, this record is so fresh. I love the old school feel of it.
As always, I appreciate you spending part of your Sunday with me. I hope that you have a great rest of your day, and see you next week :)

Ugh. Not another layoff. It's relentless. Glad you're keeping your head up and working on the next move. TBH, I'm just so inspired by your positive (at least neutral) attitude when moving forward! It makes me feel less scared to try, even if things don't turn out the way I hoped. You're awesome Max! Thanks for being a hub for human connection and meaning in this internet land.
Wishing you all the best! Thanks for sharing the going ons of your life
