Happy Sunday!
Life has been busy lately, but not necessarily in a bad way. I’ve been working more on cutting things out that are no longer serving me, and making more time for the things that do. One step at a time.
I hope that this week has been good to you. If it hasn’t, just remember that each day is a reset, and things will get better.
How are you enjoying your March so far? It’s crazy that we’re already halfway through it.
Let’s get into it:
I hit pause on the Hire Community newsletter for a bit and I’m not gonna lie, I feel like I’m letting some people down. But I need to take a little break. Between work, curating this newsletter, and other life things, it has been a lot. I appreciate all of the support with this, it means so much and hope to back to it in some time.
I started taking an anti-depressant a couple of weeks ago and while I noticed some positive effects for a few days, I realized that I felt better without it. I’m still glad that I tried this medicine though because there’s nothing wrong with needing help.
Day trips are fun. You don’t always need to plan a big vacation. Little day trips to explore somewhere new are a great way to get away.
What works for you might not work for someone else, and that is okay. We all have our systems and ways of doing things and no one has the “correct” way. If you’ve found your way, keep exploring that.
You’re more than your job or what you do and it’s important remember that. Don’t forget to make the time to enjoy time with friends, travel, hobbies, etc. for whichever fills your cup.
Pictured here is my boy Scotch taking one of his many naps of the day 😴
As always, thank you very much for spending a part of your Sunday with me. I hope that you have a great rest of your day and see you next time :)
P.S. If you’re a fan of these Sunday Thoughts, hit reply and let me know. I’d love to hear from you.
