We’re officially in Summer and while I do love the extra sunshine, I tend to feel extra guilty this season when I’m inside working instead of being outside. Anyone else?
I’ve also been working a lot on Q3 goals for work this past week, and wild to think we’re about halfway done with the year. Heckin’ heck.
Let’s get into it:
I’ve been putting myself out there more in terms of signing up for activities where I know no one and it’s been fun. I do get nervous at first, but it’s always worth it to meet new people.
A simple thank you goes a long way. It’s often the smallest act of kindness that can make the biggest impact.
I’m dedicating spending at least 20 minutes a day to reading. I’m not chasing reading x amount of books per month, but just some time spent lost in a book.
Sprinkle in a little more fun in your day, even if just a few moments. That little joy can do a lot for our mental health.
Idk about you but this nice weather is making me crave some ice cream. I still think my fave is the Ube ice cream from Stella Jeans.

Go to comfort meal? I’ve got several but the most recent one is baked sablefish with jasmine rice and wilted garden greens—chard, kale, sorrel, collards, just whatever you’ve got at hand. Simple, satisfying comfort!
