Hey everyone,
Not going to lie, this week was pretty rough. While there was a lot of good that happened, it wasn’t the easiest week both mentally and physically. It’s a reminder that not every week is going to be good and that’s okay. Life means sometimes you’re just going to have to deal with hard things.
It’s also a reminder that no feeling lasts forever. The good, the bad, the okay, it all is subject to change. So if you also had a bad day or week or just not feeling your best, I can emphasize. It’ll get better.
Let’s get into it:
When opportunities arise, it means you’re ready for them. Remind yourself the next time you try and talk yourself out of something. You got this!
Being off IG for 2+ weeks has been nice. I do sometimes get the urge to check, but not having it on my phone makes it hard to do so. I’m excited to continue this trend.
Learning to get better with sitting still. I have a hard time relaxing because I often feel the need to be doing something. I’m working on this and it’s been challenging but much needed.
Embracing the uncomfortable moments knowing that these are all growth opportunities. Leaning into the unknown and working on getting better each day.
Every evening, the Thai restaurant near our place gives Scotch a bone when we walk by and it’s his favorite part of his day. It’s very wholesome and we’re so grateful for these moments.
Pictured here is Scotch in his new wagon. With his hip and leg problems, we got him a wagon so that we can enjoy more outside time ❤️
Song of the week
This Majid Jordan remix of The Message has been the vibe for this week. Music to zone out and enjoy the moment.
As always, I appreciate you for spending a part of your Sunday with me. I hope that you have a great rest of your day and see you next week :)
Scotch is adorable in his little wagon! The urge to be doing things was super strong for me as well.
Thanks for sharing the song!
I love that they give your boy a bone. Take it easy, Max. I hope things get easier for you soon. Also, your list rings really true for me.
