Hey everyone,
I shared a little bit of my mindset earlier this week, and I’m so glad that I did. Writing is therapeutic and the kind words from you all help too.
I sometimes think to myself, why be so vulnerable on the internet? But, then I ignore my doubt and post anyway. I’m tired of just being online and having it feel fake. People are trying to impress one another without really showing what’s going on in their lives. The truth is, I believe that we’d all be more connected if we just shared a little bit more instead of putting up a facade.
That’s my rant for another day though. There are a lot of things happening in this world, and I’m proud of us all for showing up to do our best.
Let’s get into it:
Every evening I have been writing down 3 wins for the day and it’s a good reminder that we’re doing a lot more than we may think. A small but powerful exercise, which I highly recommend!
When I get nervous about a talk or new project at work, I remind myself that I’m nervous because I care. A friend gave me this advice and it always helps me reframe my nervousness into pushing through.
I used to hate Summer when I was younger because I couldn’t wear clothing that allowed me to hide my nub. Now as I am getting older, I have been embracing it more and while sometimes I feel self-conscious, I’m enjoying embracing my uniqueness :)
In the same way, we’d extend grace to our friends and family, we have to do to ourselves too. It’s a process, and easier said than done, but very important.
Evening laps with Celeste and Scotch are my favorite part of my day ❤️

Song of the week
Music is a big part of my life, and I thought it would be cool to include a Song of the Week in this series. So without further ado, I’ve been listening to ‘Trae The Truth in Ibiza’ by J.Cole on repeat lately. Thank you to my brother BMac for sending me this when I was feeling down.
As always, I appreciate you for spending a part of your Sunday with me. I hope that you have a great rest of your day and see you next week :)
