This is always an interesting time of year where everyone is a little checked out because of how close the holidays are, and we’re all trying to close out some last-minute things.
If it’s been a hectic week for you, I hope you find some calm today.
Let’s get into it:
Having anxiety isn’t fun by any means but I’m learning to embrace it more. When I try to resist, I notice it staying longer. Acknowledging means it more often than not comes and goes.
When pitching new ideas, etc. you don’t need to make yourself small by using language like “I’m sorry to bother you” “Feel free to ignore” “This might be a bad idea” etc. Be confident in your pitch and just say it. It might not land but that’s okay too.
You’ll never regret shooting your shot. Even if you miss, you should be proud of going for it anyway.
My stress/overwhelm remedy is getting outside and taking a lap around the block. Works every time.
