Officially on holiday break

Hey everyone,

Well, I did it, officially on holiday break until the new year! I’m looking forward to resting and taking it easy for a bit, but I already know my anxious mind is going to want to work in a few days 😂

Happy holidays to you and yours!

Let’s get into it:

1. Talent only gets you so far. Without drive, you’re likely to fizzle out.

2. Reminder to self: I love writing, but I also don’t want this to feel like a job. Just have fun, and don’t force it.

3. I love the stillness and calm early in the morning before the day starts.

4. Enjoy the process, because this is the fun part.

5. These gingerbread cookies at Trader Joe’s are an all-time favorite.
