Hey everyone,
One thing that I have been working on this week is pulling myself out of future casting and more into the present moment. It hasn’t been perfect by any means, but instead of letting myself go down the anxious rabbit hole of overthinking months ahead, I remind myself to live in the now. There’s no need to worry about things that haven’t happened.
Slowly but surely it’s working.
Let’s get into it:
Getting a walk in the morning before jumping into all the daily things helps set the tone and brings some calm. I’m prioritizing this more in my daily routine.
I’m learning to appreciate the slow days instead of trying to fill my time up with things. I get anxious when I’m idle and I’m working on being better at rest and slowness.
I’ve been rereading Happy Money and one immediate lesson I’m implementing is saying thank you to my money as it serves me. Thank you money for paying for my groceries. Thank you money for paying rent and providing housing. Small little mindset shifts like this can start to positively change your relationship with money.
Often we’re our own biggest critics. We put unrealistic expectations on ourselves, and as a result, we are more stressed out. Let’s be kinder to ourselves.
The morning ritual of making coffee and taking the first sip in the morning is one of my favorite moments.
Pictured here are matching bracelets that Celeste and I got for each other 😍
Song (Playlist) of the Week
I’ve been into making playlists lately, so I might turn this into a regular thing. Let me know what y’all think 🪩
As always, I appreciate you for spending a part of your Sunday with me. I hope that you have a great rest of your day and see you next week :)
I love your playlists!! And yes to slower days!
Love the word practice because it gives us permission to not be perfect every day! We’re just practicing 🥲😅 sometimes that the best you can do!
